This isnt my first time blogging, about a year ago for my english class I had to set one up. It was a great experience, it is kind of like righting in a journal, but your classmate can comment on your experiences.
Relaxation Journey
To set the mood I shut off all the lights in my bedroom, lit some candles and got really comfy on my bed and began to listen to the track. When I first started to listen to the relaxation track, I noticed how soothing this man's voice was. It took me a couple of seconds to focus and relax, but when I did I could feel each part of my body relax and the tension just melt away. By the end I did feel more relaxed and calm, I also was able to sleep better that night.

ReplyDeleteI applaud your success with this exercise! This was my first experience in a relaxation exercise. This is definitely a great way to relieve stress. My arms and hands felt very warm and heavy. I also focused on my shoulders, and felt the heat radiate into my back and neck. When the voice said to try to lift my arms I could not believe that it was so difficult! That told me that I was relaxed enough to transfer enough blood from my abdomen to my arms, shoulders, and hands. I used diaphragm breathing along with this exercise, and felt the rise and fall of my belly as I inhaled and exhaled each breath.
